21 ਨਵੰਬਰ (ਪ ਪ):- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਨੁਮਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਹ ਅਧੀਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਬਜਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਘੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਡਾ. ਸੀ ਪੀ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੰਜ ਬਾਲ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਰੀਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੋਹਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਘੇ ਚਿੰਤਕ ਡਾ. ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਭੱਟੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ਿਅਤਾਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਿਵੇਕਲੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਡਾ. ਸੀ ਪੀ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਡਾ. ਕੰਬੋਜ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਯੂਨੀਸਟਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਇਹ ਪੰਜ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਇਮਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਰੰਗਦਾਰ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗੀ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਾਤ-ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਗਰ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੀਮਾਂਤ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਲਾਧੂਕਾ (ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ) ਦੇ ਜੰਮਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੀ ਪੀ ਕੰਬੋਜ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਰਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਪਮਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਫੌਂਟਾਂ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਐਪਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
The Education Minister released five computer books by Dr. C P Kamboj
During the state-level book fair in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, organized by the Department of Languages Punjab under the auspices of the Government of Punjab, five children's computer books authored by renowned writer Dr. CP Kamboj were unveiled. The event was graced by the Minister of Higher Education and Languages of Punjab, Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, along with other dignitaries including the Additional Director of Language Department, Punjab, Virpal Kaur, District Language Officer Dr. Davinder Singh Boha, and eminent Punjabi thinker Dr. Surjit Bhatti.
The books, published by Unistar Publications Mohali, are designed to be beneficial for primary school children, offering practical computer exercises in the Punjabi language, complemented by colorful illustrations. Dr. Kamboj, who hails from the village of Ladhuka (Fazilka) in the border area and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Punjabi University, Patiala, expressed his hope that these books would prove effective in teaching computers to children in their mother tongue.
Dr. Kamboj has an impressive portfolio, having written over three dozen computer books in Punjabi and thousands of articles for daily newspapers and magazines. He has also developed numerous Punjabi fonts, software, and mobile apps. Minister Bains congratulated Dr. Kamboj on his remarkable work.
